My first move would be to get the facts tight quickly: what exactly is late, what commitment was made, what the real exposure is, and what alternatives still exist. I do not want the issue framed as generic urgency if it is really a specific capacity, logistics, or planning failure.
Once that is clear, I would align the internal stakeholders on the real consequence, push the supplier...
