I would not reject the increase automatically, but I would not accept it casually either. I would want to understand what changed, how much of the increase is structural versus temporary, what evidence supports it, and whether the request is aligned with market movement or mostly positioned for negotiation.

Then I would look at the whole commercial picture. Sometimes the answer is a partial...
