I would frame my strengths around adaptability, communication, and staying calm under pressure. Travel nursing has taught me how to enter a new environment quickly, read the unit, and focus on the actions that matter most for safe care. I am also strong at asking focused questions without needing excessive hand-holding, which is important when a unit needs someone who can contribute quickly.

For a weakness, I would choose something real but manageable. For example, earlier in my career I sometimes wanted to solve everything on my own before escalating. Over time I learned that good judgment includes knowing when to pull in the charge nurse or another resource sooner. That made me a safer and more efficient nurse. I would support that improvement with an actual example of when I raised a concern earlier and what happened next.
